Enviro Cover System is EPI’s proprietary technology, consisting of Enviro Cover film, Enviro Cover Deployer and the specialized deployment process.
The deployment process involves:
- A landfill site loads a roll of Enviro Cover and onsite ballast material onto Enviro Cover Deployer.
- The deployer driver positions the equipment at the area that needs cover, and begins the deployment.
- As the deployer moves, Enviro Cover film is unrolled from the deployer. At the same time, ballast material is discharged from the deployer at a controlled rate. The ballast securely anchors the film onto the working face.
- When the deployer deploys the next panel, it creates an overlap, which is then closed by the ballast deposited on it. As a result, the panels form a complete closure and impermeable barrier between the waste and the environment.
- The deployer driver repeats the procedure until the whole area is covered.
